Curled up on the couch,
the curtains drawn,
the world shut out -
Drowning in my sorrow.
In a moment's time
I hear a whisper -
A comfort, then a scene
On a hill, on a cross
long ago, far away
to a goodly man of 33
whose blood fell softly
and spread around the knees
of righteous weeping souls.
This goodly man knew
my sorrows even then
and sent a comforter
to remind me.
Thank you, my Savior for
deeming me worthy.
